Our EDM capabilities include all facets of Electrical Discharge Machining. Utilizing all Charmilles EDM equipment ensures us that the result will be of the highest precision.

We have 4 Charmilles Wire EDM Machines some of which incorporate the latest high-speed digital generator. This high-speed generator prevents oxidation on titanium material during the finish cutting process, which is an important factor in the aerospace and medical fields, and an important factor for Aphelion due to the amount of titanium wire cutting we do. This also gives the surface and geometry of the component better integrity and finish in a less amount of time, which in return means less money spent. 3 of the 4 Wire EDM Machines are submerged type machines, which means irregular shapes and heights are no problem during the wire cutting stage of the job. All 4 wire machines are full +/-30 degree taper cutting capable, and all have auto threading capabilities.

When blind sharp corner deep pockets or thin walled components become a headache for others, we simply utilize our Charmilles Conventional EDM with a non-contact machining approach and get the job done.
